TEC Successes:
At TEC we are proud of the successes of our students. This gives us feedback regarding the measurement of our effectiveness as educators. It also gives the potential student confidence in our ability to advance your learning goals. Here we share some of our students recent accomplishments.
- 94% of students that have attended TEC courses and returned to take their certification tests have passed.
- After attending the Webmaster Course the Webmaster for the Colorado Springs Rescue Mission received an award from the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions for it's outstanding website.
- Upon completion of the Webmaster and Computer Hardware Courses and after being unemployed for 2 years, Richard was able to interview for and receive an IT position at a college. Richards previous employment was in another field but he learned so much, so quickly at TEC he was able to pass his certification tests and move into a new IT career field.
- TEC provided training for Steve the Network Administrator at CASA of Colorado to improve his skills in Networking and Computer Hardware. CASA is a non-profit organization that aids children in cases of abuse or neglect. Steve is a volunteer at CASA and appreciated the short but intense schedule of TEC's curriculums.
- Students from Buckley Air Force Base were able to apply the knowledge of what they learned in the TEC Webmaster Course to make their web pages 508 compliant in accordance with the law.
- Although he is in California, TEC assisted Shane in the acquisition of a Laptop computer he desperately needed for College. Shane's income for 2002 was $1800.00 which prohibited him from acquiring the technology he needed for his school work.
- Many of TEC's students are deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. Our hopes and prayers go out to them and their families for a safe return home.
Latest TEC News:
- TEC was awarded 2009 Best of Colorado Springs Private Vocational / Technical Schools from the US Commerce Association
- TEC is now an Authorized Training Center for the EC Council. TEC is in the process of becoming a premier computer forensics training facility with classes starting in the fall of 2010.
